As our Founding Product Designer , you will play a critical role in achieving this mission by making Noloco’s app builder's and resulting app's, UI, and UX intuitive, powerful, and easy to use for non-technical users . You’ll define our design foundation and help shape how businesses create software to grow faster with Noloco.

Your Mission Your primary mission will be to establish a strong design foundation for Noloco and ensure that our platform is simple, powerful, and flexible for our users. You will define the design system for Noloco’s modular app components , redesign the mobile experience , and help shape new product features that enable businesses to build incredible software without writing code.

Success means creating a design language that feels seamless across all user-built apps , making complex workflows intuitive , and shipping fast in a fast-moving startup environment.

What You'll Be Doing Product & UX Design : Designing intuitive, modern, and practical experiences in Figma .

Component Design : Creating modular UI components that work well across many different customer-built apps.

Design System : Establishing a consistent, scalable design system to improve UI coherence.

User Research : Talking to users, running usability tests, and gathering feedback to guide and refine designs.

Mobile UX Improvement : Revising the app experience to improve usability on mobile .

Iteration & Execution : Rapidly shipping, testing, and improving designs based on user feedback.

Collaboration : Working directly with engineers to ship the new features.

What Exactly You'll Be Doing Designing and iterating on at least 3+ new product features in your first 6-12 months.

Creating a scalable design system for Noloco’s modular app components.

Redesigning the mobile experience to improve usability on smaller screens.

Working closely with engineering to ensure designs are effectively implemented.

Engaging with customers directly to understand their pain points and needs.

Collaborating with the CEO, product, and engineering teams to shape Noloco’s product direction.

Making quick decisions and prioritizing progress over perfection .

Who You Are 3+ years of experience in product design, UX / UI, or a related field, ideally in a B2B company.

Very experienced in Figma

Experience designing modular UI components that work across multiple use cases.

Ability to simplify complex workflows —you can create intuitive experiences for non-technical users.

Enjoy untangling vague conceptual problems —you can identify the easiest way for users to get value from the product.

Don’t get stuck on pretty UI—you can balance between form, function speed, and value

Care about business needs , implications, and practicality of your designs.

Comfortable with user research —you enjoy talking to users and learning from them.

Strong decision-making skills —you don’t wait for perfect clarity before taking action.

A bias for shipping —you prioritize getting designs into users' hands quickly.

Bonus : Ability to contribute to branding, marketing assets, or product launches .

What Does Success Look Like? 3 Months : You’ve designed and launched your first product feature and have established a clear plan for Noloco’s design system.

6 Months : Noloco has a consistent design system in place, and you’ve made key improvements to mobile UX .

12 Months : Noloco’s design language is cohesive , users find it easier than ever to build apps , and design is now a key strength of the company.

Opportunities for Growth & Progression As Noloco continues to grow, you’ll have the opportunity to take on more ownership over the design function. This could mean leading future design hires , evolving our design strategy , and playing a key role in shaping the next phase of Noloco’s product vision .

Where Will You Work? You'll be based in Barcelona, where we work from our office once a week (or more if you want). However, Noloco is a remote-first company, the current team is primarily based in Dublin & Barcelona so most work will happen over Slack, Zoom and in your case, Figma. We put a lot of effort into making our remote culture work well and meet up in person as a whole team at least once a year to ensure everyone knows everyone.
