📍 Location : Madrid (Work center in Arganda del Rey)

🕹️ Modality : Hybrid (60% on-site)

✈️ Frequent travel : 2–3 short trips per month (1 to 4 days) across Europe

At Exceltic , we are hiring a Core Network & Network Senior Engineer with strong telecom and satellite background to join an ambitious project involving 5G Core Networks and Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) . You’ll be part of a high-tech, international team working at the forefront of telecom innovation.

🛠️ Main Responsibilities

Define 5G Core Network system requirements for a multi-orbit satellite system .
Define the high-level software and hardware architecture of the 5G CN.
Prepare implementation and testing plans for proposed subsystems.
Provide technical oversight to subcontractors on :
▪ Design & architecture
▪ Requirements compliance
▪ Development and validation
Support the integration of subsystems into the full system architecture.

🎯 Requirements

3 to 5 years of experience in the telecom industry .

Deep understanding of mobile network architecture :

▪ Core Network (CN)

▪ Radio Access Network (RAN)

▪ Ancillary services

Strong knowledge of 5G Core Architecture .

Proven experience with 3GPP standards and implementation of Core Network subsystems :

▪ Resource allocation

▪ Service orchestration

▪ Control plane interfaces

Experience in development and testing of 4G / 5G systems .

Expertise in virtualization and cloud platforms .

Understanding of satellite communications .

Experience in technology R&D project management .

Solid knowledge of 5G-NTN and New Radio Non-Terrestrial Networks .

EU nationality and willingness to undergo EU Secret Clearance .

Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional European languages are a plus.
