At FINERGE, we keep working to develop #renewables energies, and achieve a #netzero world.To accomplish this goal, we are looking for a "Environmental Specialist", to offer her / him a project where she / he could grow and develop.Would you like to apply, or may you know someone who could fit the role?Do not hesitate to apply, share it, or reach us for any further information, if you want to become a #climateguardianGeneral DescriptionResponsible for environmental studies and permitting activities of early and advanced development stage renewable energy projects.Mission of the roleEnvironmental management of projects under constructionEnvironmental management of projects in operationSupport potential acquisition or sale of such projectsMain AccountabilitiesSupport the Business Development team with implementation of company policies and procedures to ensure timely permitting of development stage projects and permit compliance for construction and operational stage projects.Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers at local and national levels with the goal of fostering productive and ethical relationships with administrative authorities.Conduct environmental due diligence on potential greenfield or acquisition opportunities.Develop environmental study for specific projects in consultation with internal resources, such as the Legal, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Finance, Investment Analysis and Energy Assessment teams.Prepare milestone schedule and budget requirements to complete environmental studies and licensing processes.Manage preparation of permit applications to agencies, represent Finerge in hearings and proceedings, answer within the established timeline to public consultation processes, and maintain documentation of the process and conditions for all permits.Coordinate with the Construction and Asset Management & Operations teams to ensure permit compliance of projects during construction and operation phase.Experience5-10 years of demonstrated experience with environmental compliance for energy projects,in development phase, under construction and in operation.Experience in local and national environmental policy development.Technical knowledge of biodiversity concerns relating to operations of wind and solar power projects preferred.Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software & GIS software is mandatory.Academic BackgroundEngineering or Environmental degree.Specific master is a plus.Skills neededExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAble to extract, analyze and review data and make appropriate recommendationsEffectively working in a team environment.Dedicated and positive attitude with solid professionalism.Individual focus on details.What do we offerTOP salary conditions composed by Fix Annual + Performance Bonus.Healthcare Insurance, providing Physical, Menthal, and Dental services.Monthly meal vouchers, free of taxes on top of your salary.Advanced wellbeing policy with flexible working hours and remote working options.Free fruit and coffee at the officeRegular events where you could collaborate with "green-initiatives" with your own hands.A project full of growing and develop possibilities.The chance to join a high performing team, in a fast-paced market that will continuously challenge and push you to improve.An organization full of passionate people, with a deep rooted collaborator-caring culture, driven by results.
