AI Researcher - Next-Generation Technologies

Job Opportunity : We are seeking a skilled Machine Learning Researcher to specialize in Speech Technology, Natural Language Processing, and Text-to-Speech systems. This role involves conducting research and development of novel models independently or collaboratively with the Head of Research and Development. As a researcher, you will be responsible for building and iterating on research prototypes, conducting experiments, and evaluating their effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities :

1) Conduct research and development of novel models in STT, NMT, and TTS, independently or in collaboration with other team members. 2) Build and iterate on research prototypes, conducting experiments and evaluations. 3) Transition promising research into robust, production-grade implementations. 4) Stay up-to-date with the latest research in speech and language AI and adapt state-of-the-art ideas to our needs.

Requirements :

Doctorate in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computational Linguistics, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience in applied AI research. Strong proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks, solid understanding of machine learning and deep learning fundamentals, and experience working with training, fine-tuning, or adapting large language models like LLaMA, GPT, Mixtral.

Desirable Skills :

Strong software engineering skills, including experience with version control, modular code design, and working with complex codebases. Experience deploying ML models to production environments (cloud or on-prem). Proficiency in C# and .NET (our broader platform is built in .NET technologies). Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms. Basic understanding of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, and CSS) for prototyping demo interfaces.
