Senior SAP ABAP Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join our team. As a Senior SAP ABAP Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining SAP applications using ABAP programming language.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain SAP applications using ABAP programming language.
Create custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements as per business requirements.
Implement SAP standard and custom enhancements using user exits, BAdIs, and enhancement points.
Integrate SAP modules with other internal and external systems.
Develop and maintain interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services.
Provide technical support for SAP applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ABAP programs and SAP modules.
Prepare detailed technical specifications, design documents, and user guides.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for all development work.
Work closely with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Collaborate with other developers and IT staff to ensure seamless integration and performance optimization.
Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an SAP ABAP Developer.

Proficient in SAP ABAP programming including reports.

Strong knowledge of SAP modules (e.g., FI, CO, PS, MM).

Experience with SAP enhancement techniques (user exits, BAdIs, enhancement spots).

Familiarity with SAP Fiori / UI5 development and OData services is a plus.

Understanding of SAP integration technologies such as IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services.

Experience with ABAP Objects and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) in SAP.

Knowledge of SAP HANA database and related programming techniques (e.g., CDS views, AMDP).

Experience with performance tuning and optimizing ABAP programs.

Understanding of SAP Security concepts and authorizations.

Familiarity with SAP S / 4HANA and migration projects.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

SAP Developer certification.

Excellent analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

English C1 level.
