In this position, you'll drive Amazon Europe's workflow planning, risk mitigation, and cost and capacity management. You will collaborate with FC partners, provide guidance, identify and rectify workflow variances, and actively manage the journey of millions of customer orders from checkout to shipment. Key job responsibilities Master Amazon's proprietary flow management tools and processes, becoming the go-to for seamless FC operations interface

A day in the life In our European Central Flow Team offices in Barcelona, as a Process Control Specialist, you’ll optimize operations in Fulfilment Centres across Europe. Here’s what you can expect :
Start of Shift : Begin with a shift handover, understand current network status, forecasted volumes and capacities, and potential events affecting forecasts. Catch up with on-site teams to align on priorities and review metrics and highlights.
Throughout Your Shift : Connect with operations teams across Europe; create data-driven plans using in-house tools; fine-tune staffing; lead real-time decisions; make strategic adjustments as new information comes in; maintain clear stakeholder communication.
End of Shift : Share insights and report key performance metrics and potential impacts for upcoming shifts; provide updates and recommendations; conclude with a sense of making an impact.

Qualifications You are proficient in English (European Framework level B2) and have strong communication skills across multiple stakeholder groups
You are a problem solver, comfortable working with data to triage issues and make critical decisions
Fluency in another European language
Degree or relevant experience in logistics, leadership roles, administration, education, or related fields
Experience in remote or centralized team environments
Some basic knowledge or interest in learning programming languages
Ability to balance and prioritize, influence others, and demonstrate proactive action
Experience collaborating with customers or stakeholders to drive business objectives and deliver results
Experience in fast-paced, metric-led environments with a focus on continuous improvement
