Wind Solutions Manager

Location : Spain (Hybrid, with European and occasional international travel)

Industry : Renewable Energy – Wind

We are working alongside our client in the renewable energy sector, based in Spain, to hire a Wind Solutions Manager. Partnering with leading multinationals, high‑growth start‑ups, and ambitious SMEs in the renewable energy industry, we deliver exceptional talent solutions that drive business success and long‑term impact.

Our client is a world‑leading green technology company specialising in renewable energy generation and storage. Operating across multiple regions, the business develops integrated solutions spanning wind turbine technology, energy storage, and green hydrogen.

Responsibilities

Define product portfolios and features based on market and customer requirements.
Guide technical development and collaborate closely with commercial and engineering teams to deliver competitive, site‑optimised wind solutions.
Analyse global and regional wind markets, identifying trends in policy, technology, and customer requirements.
Work with technical project teams to define site‑specific turbine solutions, including layouts, models, and performance analysis.
Collaborate with sales, commercial, and technical teams to shape bidding and pricing strategies.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Control Engineering (or related discipline).

Minimum 4 years’ experience in the global wind industry, preferably with exposure to offshore wind turbine development and management.

Strong understanding of European offshore wind requirements, including due diligence, bidding, and delivery processes.

In‑depth technical knowledge of wind turbine systems and wind farm design.

Excellent communication and networking skills, with the ability to collaborate across international teams.

Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
