About the Role :

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to lead quality assurance efforts for our Billing Systems team, focusing on the transition from Zoho and FastSpring to NetSuite Billing.

This role requires a hands-on QA professional who can lead testing activities across complex billing workflows, integrations, and data migrations. The focus is on functional, integration, and system-level validation of billing and financial processes. However, a solid understanding and ability to create automation testing is highly desirable.

You will work closely with Finance, Engineering, and Product teams to ensure a smooth transition to NetSuite Billing - maintaining accuracy, stability, and compliance in all billing operations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead QA activities for the migration from Zoho and FastSpring to NetSuite Billing.
  • Design, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and cases for billing, invoicing, and payment workflows.
  • Validate data integrity across systems during migration and integration testing.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Development teams to define test strategy and acceptance criteria.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across multiple environments.
  • Coordinate and guide junior QA engineers or outsourced QA contributors.
  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and provide clear documentation for stakeholders.
  • Identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and ensure consistent QA standards.
  • Contribute to automation strategy where applicable.

Requirements :

  • 5+ years of QA experience, including experience with billing or financial systems (ERP, CRM, or payment gateways).
  • Strong understanding of billing workflows, subscription models, revenue recognition, and invoicing logic.
  • Experience working with NetSuite (preferred), Zoho, FastSpring, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, SQL, and data validation techniques.
  • Working knowledge of automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, or Postman collections) is a plus.
  • Experience in Agile / Scrum environments.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills in English (B2+ or higher).

    • Highly desirable :

  • Experience in leading QA efforts in the transition to NetSuite.
  • Experience with data migration validation and reconciliation.

    • Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Exposure to financial reporting or revenue assurance testing.
  • Basic scripting or automation experience (Python, TypeScript, or similar).
