JOB DESCRIPTION :

The Area Contracting Manager will lead the strategic planning, contracting, and management of supplier relationships executed by the Europe contracting team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the company achieves optimal commercial conditions for all Tours, Activities, Attractions, and additional services within the "Activities" product vertical across Europe.

• Partner with the Head of Sourcing to develop a comprehensive regional contracting strategy. Create a strategic plan for the team to facilitate effective execution.
• Oversee departmental Key Performance Indicators and annual objectives. Ensure team members are aligned with the outcomes and are empowered to meet company expectations.
• Lead, mentor, and coach the team proficiently to drive them toward achieving the company's targeted goals.
• Negotiate and foster strong relationships with key suppliers in the region.
• Participate and attend key supplier meetings and main tradeshows in Europe.
• Lead interdepartmental relationships across the business.
