We are seeking a Corporate Controller to lead our accounting and financial reporting functions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a relationship-driven, family-business culture and will embrace our field-based operations—spending time in the field, understanding our skilled workforce, and helping keep them safe.

What You’ll Do :

  • Lead corporate accounting operations, including AP / AR, payroll, general ledger, and treasury
  • Oversee the month-end close process in collaboration with a team of Divisional Controllers
  • Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and other regulations
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support senior leadership decisions
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
  • Coordinate audits and tax filings with external partners
  • Optimize accounting systems, processes, and reporting capabilities

What We’re Looking For :

  • Strong technical accounting expertise, including GAAP and IFRS compliance
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Background in internal controls, risk management, and audit oversight
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience managing and developing teams
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • High ethical standards and meticulous attention to detail

    • Leadership Scope :

    This role oversees an Accounting Manager and an AP Supervisor, leading a team of approximately 10 individuals, and works closely with Divisional Controllers across the organization.

    Education and / or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA or MBA Preferred)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Corporate Accounting or Finance leadership role
  • Proven experience managing teams, including direct reports and cross-functional teams
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting and internal controls
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills; initiative and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid grasp of mathematics, financial principles and complex spreadsheets

    • Salary Range

  • $175,000 - $225,000
