We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead one of our flagship properties in the Spanish-Speaking Caribbean.
Position Overview
The General Manager will be responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational management of the hotel. This role requires a results-driven hospitality professional with strong leadership capabilities, operational expertise, and the ability to foster a culture of excellence across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership to all hotel departments to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Oversee daily operations including front office, housekeeping, F&B, maintenance, security, and guest services.
- Drive financial performance through effective budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and revenue optimization.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, brand guidelines, and regional regulations.
- Develop and implement business strategies to improve occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and overall profitability.
- Lead, develop, and mentor a diverse team, promoting a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
- Maintain strong relationships with corporate leadership, local partners, suppliers, and government entities.
- Champion high service standards, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement actions to enhance guest experience and brand reputation.
- Oversee health, safety, and security operations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of progressive leadership experience in hospitality management, including at least 3 years in a General Manager or Hotel Manager role.Proven track record in managing full-service or resort-style properties.Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L responsibility.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Experience working in the Caribbean or international resort destinations preferred.Fluency in English required; Spanish proficiency is highly desirable.Ability to relocate and work in a multicultural environment.
