Global Category Management for IT
We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the implementation of global category management for our IT category. This role will involve setting up and maintaining strategic relationships with suppliers, managing contracts, and driving cost savings.
This is an opportunity to establish best-in-class global IT category management and make a significant impact on our procurement strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop a clearly defined global sourcing and contracting approach that aligns with stakeholder requirements.
- Set up and execute ongoing contract and supplier relationship management within the category.
- Ensure business is conducted under competitive conditions with suppliers.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a 'One Global IT Procurement Strategy' including standards, guidelines, processes, and policies.
- Motivate and coach local teams to successfully execute the global strategy.
About You
Degree qualified in an appropriate field, complemented by a postgraduate or professional qualification such as NEVI or CIPS.1-5 years' experience in a similar role or position.A strong interest in IT Contract and Supplier Management.Demonstrable experience of strategic category management within your responsible category and across multiple countries is advantageous.Ability to lead, motivate, and develop remote and matrix-managed teams.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with influencing and negotiation capabilities.Benefits
