Data Engineer (French Speaker) – Hybrid Madrid

We're looking for a DATA ENGINEER to join a client project, contributing to strategic data initiatives such as the migration to a modern Datahub platform.

Hybrid role based in Madrid.

French (B2 / C1) is essential – English also required.

2–3 years of prior experience required

Occasional travel may be require

What you'll do :

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines aligned with corporate standards
• Ensure performance, security, and data quality across systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support troubleshooting
• Automate workflows using Airflow, Spark (Scala), Kafka, and CI / CD tools
• Document processes and mentor junior engineers

Tech stack includes : Spark (Scala), Kafka, Airflow, S3 / COS, SQL / NoSQL, GitLab, Jenkins, Hadoop, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, Shell scripting, and GenAI prompt design

Bonus tools : HVault, Dataiku, Dremio

Experience in banking or financial services is a plus.
