Technical Field Engineer

Overview

Wanhua Chemical is a global leader in advanced materials and specialty chemicals. As a Chemist & Technical Support Engineer for Polyurethane Viscoelastic Foam (VEF) in Home Applications, you will play a key role in supporting our overseas business growth by contributing to technical development, product validation, and customer support. Reporting to the Overseas Technical Support Manager, you will collaborate with experienced polymer researchers, engineers, and sales managers to ensure efficient technical operations and business expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Provide professional and timely technical support to polyurethane downstream home application customers.

Deliver effective technical services during product line tests.

Diagnose and resolve quality and technical issues efficiently, support customers in troubleshooting, and manage complaints.

Collaborate with sales and technical teams to develop new customers, conduct factory trials, and support achievement of sales targets.

Gather market intelligence on customer needs and industry developments.

Share insights to support R&D and sales in product improvement, business development, and customer management.

Qualifications & Skills

Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Polymers, Material Science, or related fields (coursework in Polyurethanes is a plus).

Experience : Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Polyurethane flexible foam or viscoelastic foam or home applications.

Learning Ability : Strong eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Communication Skills : Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Travel : Willingness to travel for business (50%+).

Language Requirement

As an international company, fluency in English is essential to communicate effectively in a global working environment.
