About the role

As an Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial compliance and reporting requirements of our operations in accordance with the ACPR regulations in France. You will work closely with our finance and compliance teams in France and Singapore HQ to maintain accurate financial records and ensure our operations are conducted in full compliance with relevant regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities :

  • Financial Reporting : Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records in compliance with ACPR regulations in France, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established accounting standards. Weekly and monthly reporting to Singapore HQ
  • Tax Compliance : Manage tax compliance, including VAT and corporate tax filings, while staying updated on changes to French tax laws and regulations that may impact our operations.
  • Audit Support : Manage financial audits, liaise with auditors, and provide necessary documentation to ensure a smooth audit process.
  • Regulatory Compliance : Stay informed about updates and changes to ACPR regulations in France, and work with the compliance team to ensure the company's operations align with regulatory requirements.
  • Reconciliation : Perform regular financial reconciliation, ensuring that transactions and balances are accurately reflected in the company's financial records.
  • Financial Analysis : Provide financial analysis and insights to the management team, helping to make informed decisions regarding financial strategies and investments.
  • Financial Operation : Manage daily France business operations, including payment operation and assessing the impact of all new business initiatives.
  • Process Improvement : Continuously review and enhance financial and accounting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Communication : Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial data and reports are provided accurately and timely to support decision-making.
  • Requirements :
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in both French and English, with strong communication skills in both languages.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the fintech industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of ACPR regulations in France and experience in ensuring compliance with these regulations.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and best practices is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
