Overview

Protecnium is an international consulting firm specialized in engineering and technical services in construction. We are currently looking for two Field Surveyors for a Railway Infrastructure Project in Norway.

Estimated Duration : 12 months. Generally, if the project ends, we aim to transfer the employee to other projects to ensure continuity.

Location : 60 km south of Oslo, Norway (On-site).

Work Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.

Job Description

We are seeking Field Surveyors with experience in civil works, structures, and platforms to carry out topographic surveys and stakeouts. The ideal candidates will be proficient in handling high-precision equipment and specialized software to process data and ensure the quality of the generated information.

Responsibilities

• Perform topographic surveys in civil works, structures, and platforms.
• Execute stakeouts of alignments, levels, foundations, and structural elements in accordance with engineering plans.
• Operate and maintain surveying equipment (total stations, GPS / GNSS receivers, and laser scanners).
• Process survey data using AutoCAD and Civil 3D to generate drawings, profiles, sections, and digital terrain models.
• Use specialized software such as Leica Captivate for field data capture and management.
• Control tolerances and verify geometry during construction.
• Work closely with engineers and site managers to ensure proper execution of works.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and progress reports.
