Job Summary

The Assistant Housekeeping Manager is responsible for coordinating, supervising and managing the day-to-day activities of the housekeeping function. They work in conjunction with senior management to ensure that high standards are maintained continuously.

  • Directing and supervising staff performance
  • Managing task assignments and responsibilities to staff
  • Developing and evaluating staff and work procedures to ensure quality service is met
  • Responding to guest concerns in a professional manner
  • Conducting room inspections and monitoring sanitation logs
  • Attending meetings, training and courses as required

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have one to two years of experience in housekeeping supervision in an upscale hotel or resort environment. They should possess exceptional leadership skills, customer service skills and conflict resolution skills.
