Job Purpose

The Business Sales Support role supports the business development team by managing customer accounts, commercial agreements and administrative processes. It ensures accuracy of sales data, maintains relationships and coordinates with finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act on customer queries and complaints, escalating as necessary.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues efficiently.
  • Assist the business development team with administrative events.
  • Prepare and proof commercial agreements, ensuring compliance.
  • Validate agreement terms and conditions.
  • Compile and report sales figures; prepare quarterly presentations for management review.
  • Manage invoices, payments and related documentation accurately and timely.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support retention and growth.
  • Liaise with finance to provide sales forecasts, update credit limits and manage credit approvals.
  • Monitor past‑due accounts and work with customers to agree payment arrangements.
  • Oversee credit limit revisions, rebate payments, credit note issuance.
  • Ensure overall compliance of sales administrative activities.
  • Continuously assess practices and suggest improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years in a similar role or related experience.
  • Experience managing customer accounts, agreements and invoicing processes.
  • Knowledge of credit limits and payment processes.
  • Experience working cross‑functionally with other departments.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English; essential.
  • Strong communication and customer‑facing skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Team‑player attitude and attention to detail.
  • Conscientious, friendly, proactive, responsible and accountable.
  • Analytical skills to generate reports and recommendations.
  • Build trust with stakeholders, quickly understand customer needs and manage escalation.
