Senior Indirect Tax Advisor

At the heart of our operations is a complex and fast-paced aviation business, where accuracy and compliance are paramount.

Our ideal candidate will have expertise in managing VAT, GST, and other indirect taxes across multiple jurisdictions, providing strategic advice on leasing arrangements, M&A activities, and joint ventures / divestments. They will also be responsible for supervising third-party service providers, ensuring timely and accurate preparation and submission of indirect tax returns. Additionally, they will act as the key liaison during Indirect Tax audits and correspondence with tax authorities.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise 3rd party service providers for timely and accurate preparation and submission of indirect tax returns (VAT, GST, sales / use tax) across multiple countries.

Provide strategic Indirect Tax advice on leasing arrangements, M&A activities, and joint ventures / divestments.

Act as the key liaison during Indirect Tax audits and correspondence with tax authorities.

The Global Indirect Tax Manager will also partner with commercial, procurement, and legal teams to assess the indirect tax impact of contracts and international transactions. They will identify and support automation opportunities, enhance tax processes within ERP systems like SAP, and prepare for e-invoicing and e-reporting requirements. Furthermore, they will monitor indirect tax risks and implement strong internal controls and documentation practices.
