Key Roles and Responsibilities

Perform in-depth market analysis for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and other energy asset technologies across targeted regions and market segments, such as wholesale, capacity, and ancillary services.

Conduct market research to assess implications for BESS and asset portfolio performance, identifying trends and price signals.

Collaborate with internal teams to align market analysis with project development and asset operations, elaborating optimization strategies.

Build, develop, and maintain advanced quantitative models to simulate and optimize storage dispatch, bidding strategies, and revenue streams across the wholesale electricity market.

Lead energy market analysis, including scenario analysis, to support strategic decision-making and monitor third-party bidding strategies.

Essential Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Energy Sector, with a proven track record in energy market and BESS analysis, optimization, and reporting.

Familiarity with financial modeling for energy assets and revenue stacking strategies for BESS.

Solid analytical and numerical skills with a strong affinity for data-driven decision-making.

Teamwork, willingness to learn market intel, and ability to apply current knowledge to grow and develop with the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Deep understanding of market dynamics, regulatory structures, and modeling techniques needed to evaluate, forecast, and enhance storage asset value (both co-located and stand-alone) jointly with renewable assets.

Academic Background

Degree in Engineering or a scientific-technological field with a strong understanding of energy markets.
