Senior Design Director

Overview Design Lead Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Designer to lead our womenswear design team in a dynamic, fashion-forward brand.

Responsibilities Develop and implement the design strategy for multi-product categories in womenswear.

Drive creative vision to shape the brand's continued growth and success.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality designs on time.

Oversee the design process from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery of products that meet quality standards.

Work closely with suppliers to source materials and ensure efficient manufacturing processes.

Lead and mentor junior designers, providing guidance and support to develop their skills.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, catwalks, and key brands to maintain the brand's competitive edge.

Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and decision-making.

Continuously evaluate and improve design processes to drive business growth and efficiency.

Ensure alignment with brand values and aesthetic while maintaining commercial viability.

Deliver actionable insights to inform design decisions, leveraging data and market research to drive results.

Contribute to business development through identification of opportunities for product line extension, new markets, and partnerships.

Requirements Proven experience in leading design teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong portfolio showcasing creativity, innovation, and ability to interpret brand direction.

Excellent understanding of the fashion industry, including current trends, key brands, and relevant market knowledge.

Effective leadership and mentorship skills, with ability to guide and motivate junior designers.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work under pressure.

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Sketchbook Pro.

Fluency in Spanish language is highly desirable.
