Quality Assurance Specialist

HiCareer is supporting a remote-first financial automation SaaS company (70+ employees across Europe) in hiring a QA specialist.

The platform helps finance teams across Europe automate expense management, payments, and reporting — and your mission is to ensure every new release works flawlessly for thousands of users.

You’ll be part of a distributed product and engineering team that values precision, documentation, and teamwork over hierarchy.

What you’ll do

• Test new product features and integrations before deployment
• Develop and maintain test cases, both manual and automated
• Validate data flows between APIs, databases, and ERP systems
• Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve bugs
• Monitor release quality, raise issues, and track fixes
• Help evolve the testing framework to scale with product growth

The stack includes TypeScript , PostgreSQL , Playwright , and GitHub Actions , with infrastructure on Azure .

You’ll collaborate in Notion , Linear , and Slack — where QA plays a central role in every sprint.

Who we’re looking for

Experience in fintech, accounting, or SaaS products with financial data is a plus.
