Project Developer

We are looking for a Project Developer Spain to join our Development Department at DARGON ENERGY. The ideal candidate is passionate about renewable energy and motivated to learn.

Position Summary :

The role focuses on developing Wind, PV, and BESS projects in Spain from early stages through investment decisions and handover to construction & operations, following DARGON ENERGY standards and project management guidelines.

Functions & Responsibilities :

• Report to the Head of the Business and Development Department.
• Support internal approvals and procurement processes.
• Assist in co-developing and developing PV, Wind, Storage, and Hydrogen projects from greenfield to RTB and COD statuses.
• Manage permitting processes, including preparation and review of EIA and permit documentation, liaising with authorities, and representing DARGON ENERGY's interests.
• Build and maintain relationships with landowners and local communities to support project success.
• Coordinate activities related to site pre-selection, environmental constraints, wind potential assessment, and layout optimization, involving external consultants as needed.
• Supervise permitting processes for new projects, ensuring asset legalization at COD.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure project progress.

Requirements :

Fluent in Spanish and English.
