Chainalysis’ Blockchain Foundations Team (BCF) is a Business Unit within Chainalysis focused on Hexagate, a leader in real-time Web3 security. We help blockchains, DeFi protocols, asset managers, and exchanges detect and mitigate on-chain risks and threats by monitoring smart contracts, transactions, wallets, and blockchain interactions to prevent financial crime and exploits.

As a Solutions Architect, you will serve as a trusted security and technical advisor for customers, from initial evaluation to post-sales deployment. This hybrid role involves blockchain security, client consulting, sales support, and technical integration, working directly with Web3 teams to develop threat detection strategies and ensure smooth implementation of Hexagate’s solutions.

Responsibilities Partnering with sales teams for discovery calls, security risk reviews, and demos

Helping prospects evaluate Hexagate’s capabilities and building proof-of-concepts

Designing and deploying customized monitoring solutions for smart contracts and blockchain entities

Leading technical onboarding, including API integrations and alert workflows

Advising on threat models and security best practices

Staying ahead of blockchain threats and advising customers accordingly

Documenting implementation patterns and scaling customer success

Qualifications 3+ years in a technical role such as Solutions Engineer, Security Engineer, or Blockchain Analyst

Strong knowledge of Web3 security, smart contract vulnerabilities, and blockchain monitoring

Programming experience with APIs, Solidity, or similar

Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences

Customer-facing experience in security, risk management, or blockchain industries

Self-starter with ability to handle multiple accounts independently

Preferred Background in cybersecurity, fraud detection, or risk management in DeFi

Scripting skills in SQL, Python, or similar

Technologies used Solidity, smart contract security tools, SQL, Python
