Business Development Manager - Travel Industry
We are recruiting on behalf of a client for a Business Development Manager to join their growing B2B travel team. This is a fully remote role based in Spain, supporting an ambitious business that provides managed ground transport solutions for the corporate travel sector, emergency travel requirements and large-scale logistics movements.
Business Development Manager – what will I be doing?
- Building strong relationships across your region and really getting to know the needs of your target sectors.
- Driving new business growth – identifying prospects, qualifying opportunities and converting them into active trading customers.
- Managing your own pipeline, forecasts and reporting, keeping everything up to date in CRM.
- Generating new opportunities through both inbound leads and proactive outreach, including calls and client visits.
- Creating tailored proposals and quotes for prospective partners.
- Representing the business at client meetings, presentations, trade fairs and industry events.
- Supporting bids, tenders and the onboarding of new clients to ensure a seamless transition from sale to service delivery.
- Working closely with operations, design and marketing teams to support ongoing improvements in sales processes and collateral.
Business Development Manager – what experience do I need?
At least three years’ experience in B2B sales, ideally within travel, transport or another related sector.Fluency in Spanish and English, confident communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.Comfortable approaching new clients, handling objections and pitching at a senior level.Good commercial awareness and confidence using tools like Excel and CRM systems.Self-motivated, organised and driven by clear targets.Business Development Manager – what else do I need to know?
