The Opportunity We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to design, analyse, and optimise mechanical systems and components for power conversion equipment and industrial applications. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that our solutions meet international standards, reliability requirements, and innovation goals within the renewable energy sector. How You’ll Make An Impact Carry out 3D design and modelling of mechanical components and products. Perform strength, tolerance, and simulation analyses to guarantee structural integrity and functionality. Provide mechanical justification in line with applicable regulations and standards. Prepare detailed mechanical drawings and exploded views for manufacturing. Align simulation and design activities with manufacturing and assembly processes. Optimise products through value engineering initiatives. Draft validation reports, instructions, manuals, and technical documentation. Contribute to the electromechanical design of power electronics converters. Support prototype development and implementation. Your Background A bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) is a minimum requirement. Minimum of 2 years of experience in 3D mechanical design. Proven experience in engineering projects from conception to implementation. High proficiency in 3D and 2D product design software. Knowledge of finite element analysis and simulation techniques (Ansys, Comsol, or similar valued). Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. A high level of English will be valued. Valuable Experience Structural calculations and mechanical justification. Value engineering activities. Manufacturing and assembly processes. Previous experience in the renewable energy industry, particularly with power conversion systems. At least 5 years of relevant experience will be highly desirable; candidates will be assessed according to their professional background.
