About our Company

LemFi (YC S21, Series B) is revolutionizing cross-border financial services for immigrants through its multi-currency platform, processing over $1 billion in monthly transactions. We provide instant remittances, foreign exchange services, and multi-currency accounts, all in one seamless experience.

With 300+ employees across 15+ countries, our platform supports twelve currencies and integrates directly with local banks and mobile money providers, ensuring fast, low-cost transactions. But we’re not stopping at payments. LemFi is building a comprehensive financial ecosystem empowering immigrants with the financial tools they need to thrive—wherever they go.

The Role

We approach Design at LemFi the same way that we approach everything else. We love building great products. We love delighting our customers. We love turning the complexity of a chaotic world into the simplicity of a beautiful solution that truly solves customer needs.

Our Design team knows how to get a holistic view of the customer experience. We\'re looking for a Product Designer to lead the design process from discovery to delivery, always keeping in mind our customers and their interests.

What you\'ll Do

  • Partnering with Product Managers, Engineers, Marketing etc. to define customers’ and the business’ problems
  • Identifying key metrics for the projects and taking ownership for achieving their success
  • Researching and bringing forward new findings and learnings for reaching complex company goals, such as launching in new territories and offering new features
  • Designing products that solve problems in a simple and elegant way while taking care of every small detail, from wire-framing to designing end-to-end flows and prototypes
  • Running guerrilla and customer testing workshops
  • Implementing solutions with the Technical team and presenting actions during design reviews
  • Reviewing release performance, identifying learnings, and finding ways to enhance it

What you\'ll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in designing world-class complex commercial apps in-house
  • A portfolio featuring examples of product design work
  • Impressive design skills across iOS, Android, and web platforms
  • The ability to think at a high level about product strategy and articulate design decisions
  • The ability to understand technical implications in their design decisions
  • The ability to take ownership of design process and work as self-directed member of the development team
  • High UX focus and understanding of human behaviour
  • Clean visual design sense and an eye for perfection
  • Skills in typography and grids
  • Figma proficiency should be professional / expert
  • A love for problem-solving and to be challenged
