Overview

We are a specialist recruitment agency seeking a PreSales Engineer to join our client's growing AI / ML team in Madrid or Barcelona. This is a fixed-term contract until around the middle of 2026 (no extension beyond this date). The role requires fluent English; Spanish is not required but would be useful. Salary is negotiable within the €45k - €70k per annum range. Hybrid remote working available.

What you’ll do

Partner with sales, product, and engineering teams to design tailored technical solutions.
Deliver engaging demos and proofs of concept to enterprise clients.
Translate complex AI / ML technologies into clear, business-relevant outcomes.
Contribute to technical RFP / RFI responses and proposals.
Stay ahead of trends in AI, ML, and cloud infrastructure to guide customers.
Manage model delivery and technical trials for new and existing clients.

What we’re looking for

Background in AI / ML, data science, or computer engineering.

Proficiency in Python and familiarity with frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).

Strong communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

1–2 years’ experience (junior) or 2+ years (mid-level) in software / ML engineering.

Nice to have

Experience in NLP or computer vision, exposure to healthcare / finance / enterprise systems, or contributions to research / open-source projects.
