The Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled Azure & Microsoft Fabric Infrastructure Engineer (Contract) with deep expertise in designing, deploying, and supporting cloud infrastructure for modern data platforms. This role places a strong emphasis on Microsoft Fabric and Azure-native services , requiring someone who can confidently build secure, scalable, and cost-efficient environments that enable advanced data engineering and analytics workloads.

Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment and ongoing management of Azure infrastructure components supporting Microsoft Fabric , Azure Data Lake Storage , and related data services.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using ARM templates or Terraform to ensure consistent, repeatable deployments.
• Monitor and continually optimise Azure and Fabric environments for cost, performance, resilience, and scalability.
• Configure and manage security across Fabric and Azure, including licensing, Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, access controls, and Private Endpoints.
• Support and enhance CI / CD pipelines for infrastructure and data platform deployments using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Provide advanced platform support, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for Fabric and Azure infrastructure components.
