Senior Surfacing Artist

Flying Bark Productions is working on exciting projects such as Netflix's Stranger Things animated series, the recently announced Avatar : The Last Airbender feature film, Marvel Studios’ What If…?, Disney Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, as well as our production Tales From Outer Suburbia by Shaun Tan.

• Not open for remote work, this position must be based in Madrid, Spain.
• Please be aware that for this specific role, we are giving priority to artists who are eligible to work in Spain / Europe

The Surfacing Artist establishes the look and surface qualities for animated characters, props and environments. Through the use and development of textures and shaders; the Surfacing Artist will guide the production process to achieve the desired visual style. The Surfacing Artist collaborates with or aids the rest of the CG team to ensure the proper workflow and specifications are being developed to achieve the desired look on all textures.
