Automated Test Engineer - Contract - FREELANCE ONLY

Location : Spain (Hybrid)

Duration : 12-month contract

Edison Smart is hiring on behalf of our client for an Automated Test Engineer to join their team on a CONTRACT basis.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases to ensure software quality.

Perform functional testing across multiple software components.

Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing into CI / CD pipelines.

Contribute to test strategy, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience :

Hands-on experience in functional testing .

Experience in automated test case development .

Proficiency in Ruby, Python, or similar scripting languages .

Desirable Skills :

Knowledge of GitHub workflows.

Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) systems .

General DevOps experience .
