Backend developer "Python" (M / F).

Location : Barcelone (Hybrid – 2 to 3 remote days per week)

Salary : Around €65,000 gross / year

Your Role :

As a Backend Engineer within the Cross-Connectors squad, you’ll play a key role in developing and scaling the company’s core platform.

Your main responsibilities include :

Designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, secure APIs

Developing robust backend services in Python (Go is a strong plus )

Collaborating with Product and DevOps teams to turn business needs into technical solutions

Ensuring the platform’s scalability, performance, and security

Contributing to technical decisions and architectural discussions

✅ Profile

2–5 years of experience in backend development

Strong expertise in Python (Go experience highly valued)

Solid understanding of API design and third-party integrations

Good knowledge of SQL + ORM (SQLAlchemy)

Experience with AWS (Lambda, S3, EC2, IAM, etc.)

Strong engineering culture : clean code, testing, CI / CD, agile mindset

⭐ Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with banking APIs / open banking (PSD2)

Knowledge of Go, AI, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, or application security

Curiosity, autonomy, and a team-first mindset
