Senior Risk Analyst

Descripción del trabajoAt least three years of experience in the financial markets industry, preferably in market risk management. Experience with CCPs and IRS products is a plus. University degree in finance or equivalent; MSc in Risk Management or Financial Markets; and certifications such as FRM, CFA are desirable. Strong understanding of derivatives products and risk management concepts like scenario analysis, VaR, stress testing, risk measures / greeks, and regulatory capital frameworks. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with databases and programming is highly preferred. Proactive, adaptable, team-oriented, with strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and goal orientation are essential. Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish (minimum B2), capable of conveying ideas clearly to various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess relevant Key Risk Indicators (including Market, Credit, and Liquidity risk) and report findings to Management Committees and Regulators.
- Ensure risks are managed appropriately, complying with legal and regulatory requirements, and contribute to the continuous improvement of risk methodologies, procedures, and internal regulations following best practices in risk management.
- Prepare ad hoc analyses, present results to decision-making bodies and supervisory authorities, and lead initiatives in risk management.
- Collaborate closely with Quantitative Risk, Swiss Risk Management, BME Clearing’s Operations (1st line of defense), and other SIX Clearing teams.
