Descripción del trabajoThe OpportunityWe are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented HSE Technician to join our team at Hitachi Energy. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance across our operations in Europe, promoting a strong safety culture, and supporting continuous improvement in HSE practices. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career in a dynamic, international energy sector environment.How You’ll Make An Impact- Ensure compliance with Spanish legislation (Law 31 / 1995 and RD 39 / 1997) and maintain ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.- Identify hazards, perform risk assessments, implement preventive measures, and investigate incidents or near misses, providing actionable recommendations.- Manage HSE documentation, support internal and external audits, and prepare KPI and emergency response reports.- Train and raise awareness among staff, with a focus on electrical safety, and monitor proper use of PPE on-site.- Conduct site visits across Europe to ensure compliance with Hitachi Energy’s HSE standards.Your Background- Technical degree in Engineering or related discipline, plus a Master’s in Occupational Risk Prevention (Advanced Level PRL valid in Spain).- Minimum 3 years of experience in HSE roles, ideally in electrical engineering or industrial environments.- Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001;
internal auditor certification is a plus.- Strong English (B2 or higher), attention to detail, proactive hands-on attitude, and excellent communication skills.- Experience collaborating with multi-skilled site teams and contractors, with a willingness to travel occasionally across Europe.About UsHitachi Energy is a global technology leader in electrification, powering a sustainable energy future through innovative power grid technologies with digital at the core.
