Project coordinator

Lobelia Earth is a pioneering company in the use of Earth Observation satellites to address the climate emergency. We develop and operate services to study the state of the Earth’s resources, and provide key data for adaptation and mitigation measures in face of the climate crisis.

Lobelia’s team is composed of passionate experts in physics, earth sciences, graphic design, computer science, engineering and business. We apply this interdisciplinary knowledge to actual products people use and want to use. We work with trusted data providers and have a growing network of international collaborators that are as engaged as we are to drive for change.

Lobelia is hiring a Project Coordinator to strengthen its core product team.

1. What you will do

You will be responsible to support the coordination of Lobelia’s projects and commercial activities by working transversally with the technical, scientific, commercial and communication teams.

As project coordinator you will gather information across the different teams to maintain project information status updated, generate reports, and organise and participate in meetings with public institutions, agencies, and potential clients, preparing relevant material and representing Lobelia when necessary.

Through the knowledge collected by working close to tech / scientific teams you will also support the creation of commercial material for internal and for external purposes, in close collaboration with the commercial director and the managing director. In the same scope, you will also work in close relationship with the communication team to translate technical details into commercial material to effectively promote Lobelia’s products and services.

You will participate and organise capacity-building activities, such as webinars or workshops, with key players in the sector in an international environment, when needed. It is expected that you will actively contribute to the continuous improvement of Lobelia’s products and services, transmitting customer feedback and proposing best practices based on market and / or customer response.

You will be involved in several projects where you will be responsible for coordination and reporting with partners and clients, and internally with the technical, scientific, and commercial teams in support of the project manager.
