Job Overview The Medical Operations Analytics role involves analyzing and improving medical operations through the use of data. This position works closely with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, identify areas for enhancement, and develop operational reports that inform business decisions.
Key Responsibilities Collect and validate operational data from various sources.
Conduct quality control checks to ensure data accuracy and relevance.
Clean and prepare data in Excel for analysis.
Combine data from different systems to answer process-related questions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop strategies to improve them.
Analyze system data to respond to specific queries and proactively identify areas for improvement.
Establish and prioritize a backlog of data visualization needs with cross-functional teams.
Develop iterative visualizations in BI tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau) to support business decision-making.
Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Health Information Management, Public Health, Data Science, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in healthcare analytics, medical operations, or clinical informatics.
Certifications : CHDA, RHIA, or similar credentials are beneficial.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Charts.
