Product Owner Job Description

The Product Owner is responsible for overseeing the development of robust web applications, ensuring efficient front-end components, and optimizing project structures for data integrity and performance.

This role involves collaborating with designers and developers to deliver intuitive experiences, participating in Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and stakeholder alignment.

Additionally, the Product Owner will implement strategic product decisions based on user feedback and business needs, while staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies in product management and customer experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Product Owner (banking or insurance background preferred)
• Strong proficiency with Jira for project management and backend development
• Experience with frontend frameworks (nice to have)
• Solid knowledge of Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira) and version control tools like Git
• Familiarity with product design and agile environments
• Proven customer-centric development skills and web services expertise
• Advanced Spanish language skills (written and spoken)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Experience working with IT teams in the banking or insurance sector
