As a System Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing design proposals, specifications, drawings, and other data to evaluate feasibility, cost implications, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.
You will identify project requirements, provide design solutions to meet customer and site requirements, and ensure customers' best interests are protected during the project.
Key responsibilities include maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies, and preparing and scheduling trainings as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to other engineers.
Candidate must have a diversified portfolio of technical functions consistent with the requirements of the IOU, including good knowledge on DCIM, SCADA, PLCs, structured cabling, microcontrollers, and software programming, leading HW and SW designs driving digitization and connectivity for Prefab solutions.
