We are seeking a highly skilled
Cloud Engineer III
to join our Cloud Engineering team in Guadalajara. This position plays a key role in supporting our U.S. and Latin American customers by managing and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure for enterprise-grade products and services. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with
Azure , strong cloud automation and DevOps skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in
English .
You will be responsible for designing, building, deploying, and maintaining secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud solutions, primarily on Azure, with exposure to AWS and GCP. You’ll collaborate closely with architects, developers, and product owners to translate technical requirements into production-ready systems that ensure high availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using
Azure services
(AKS, App Service, Functions, Storage, AAD).
Support
MongoDB Atlas
deployments, configuration, and performance optimization.
Build and manage
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
using
Terraform .
Package and deploy containerized applications using
Kubernetes
and
Helm charts .
Configure and manage
authentication, authorization, and identity
through Azure AD, MFA, and RBAC.
Develop and maintain
CI / CD pipelines
(Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins).
Monitor and enhance system performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, staging, and production environments.
Participate in
design reviews, code reviews, and team knowledge-sharing sessions .
Create and maintain
technical documentation and SOPs
for cloud operations.
Collaborate with global teams to ensure platform standardization and alignment.
Provide
technical mentorship
to junior engineers and help drive best practices adoption.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science ,
Software Engineering , or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years
of experience in cloud, DevOps, or software engineering roles.
Strong hands‑on experience with
Azure Cloud
(AKS, App Service, Functions, Storage, AAD).
Practical experience with
Terraform ,
Kubernetes ,
Docker , and
Helm .
Experience with
CI / CD automation
and
version control systems
(Git).
Exposure to
observability tools
(metrics, logging, tracing) and
incident response
processes.
Working knowledge of
Linux
and scripting (Bash, PowerShell, or Python).
Solid understanding of microservices, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.
Excellent communication and documentation skills in
English
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and optimize cloud usage.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with
multi‑region ,
high‑availability
cloud architectures.
Familiarity with
AWS
or
GCP
cloud services.
Experience managing
infrastructure security ,
VNet ,
load balancers , and
encryption .
Experience with
service mesh
(Istio, Linkerd) or
API gateway
technologies.
Strong understanding of
cloud cost optimization
and billing management.
Prior experience supporting
customers
across LATAM and North America.
Familiarity with
Jira ,
Confluence , or
ServiceNow
for operational workflows.
