We are seeking a seasoned Storage & Backup Administrator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and organized individual who is passionate about delivering top-notch storage and backup solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Expert-level knowledge of enterprise storage systems, including SAN, Hyperconverged, and S3 (on-premise)
  • Proven experience in administering and maintaining complex storage infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of storage capacity and performance monitoring
  • Able to implement storage scaling, optimization, and obsolescence management
  • Excellent documentation and reporting skills
  • Ability to configure and manage backups using Veeam Backup & Replication
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and execution
  • Experience with data security and compliance regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

    • Responsibilities

    As a Storage & Backup Administrator, you will be responsible for :

  • Administering and maintaining enterprise storage systems
  • Monitoring storage capacity and performance
  • Implementing storage scaling, optimization, and obsolescence management
  • Documenting and reporting on storage health, usage, and lifecycle status
  • Configuring and managing backups using Veeam Backup & Replication
  • Monitoring backup status and investigating failures
  • Performing server and mailbox backup and restore operations
  • Ensuring compliance with backup schedules
  • Managing yearly tape backups and rotation
  • Supporting disaster recovery planning and execution
  • Ensuring backups are stored securely and replicated to remote blob and immutable storage
  • Collaborating with IT Operations to validate recovery point objectives (RPO) and recovery time objectives (RTO)
