We are looking for a Data Center Network Engineer to join the Global Software Asset Management team based in our Boadilla del Monte office with at least 3 years of experience as Communications Architect with main focus in WAN and DC data networking.

Responsibilities

Your role As a Data Center Network Engineer , your mission is to evaluate technology, market trends and industry developments, identify prospective impact on business by analyzing system requirements, recommending alternative technologies / improvements, leading the design and review of new systems, planning integration and evaluating projects.

Your main tasks will be :

• Help define the future IT strategy by aligning trends in communications systems with the overall infrastructure ecosystem.
• Participate in the analysis, definition, elaboration, communication and maintenance of communications-related standards, processes and multi-vendor platform integration.
• Design and develop infrastructure blueprints for the implementation of new solutions.
• Promote internal collaboration, knowledge sharing and strong relationships within the global communications community across Santander Group.
• Drive short and long-term architecture strategy for the overall IT project portfolio for key business segments.
• Participate in proof of concepts to assist in defining technology direction and enabling business strategy.
