Senior People Operations Partner – Full‐time, Hybrid. The role is located in our Berlin or Barcelona office, with the main location in Barcelona, Spain.
Responsibilities
Onboarding : Manage employment agreements and handle general contract management, collect necessary documents and employee information, organize and manage personnel records, including contracts, personal documentation and related files, coordinate pre‐onboarding, and ensure compliance with mandatory training and policies.
Payroll : Prepare and process payroll by accurately compiling and verifying data related to employee attendance, absences, overtime, bonuses and collaborating with the external provider for correct payroll processing, ensure tax compliance, and respond to employee payroll queries and discrepancies.
Benefits & Compensation : Administer benefits, oversee leave management (vacation, sick leave, parental leave), and ensure compliance with benefits‐related laws.
HR Systems & Data Management : Analyse HR metrics and provide HR reporting for stakeholders by utilizing internal HRIS, maintain employee records and HRIS systems, ensure GDPR / data privacy compliance, and improve automation of HR processes where possible.
Labour Law & Compliance : Stay updated on local labour laws and regulations, ensure employment contracts and policies comply with legal requirements, handle work permits and visa processes when needed, oversee disciplinary actions and grievance procedures, manage internal audits and government reporting requirements, and support investigations related to workplace disputes.
Offboarding : Manage resignations / terminations processes, coordinate final payroll and benefits adjustments, ensure return of company assets and access deactivation, and handle legal and compliance steps.
Contribute to team projects.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience with general administrative people topics such as German labour law, payroll, absence and contract management, forms and certificates.
Fluency in German and English.
Excellent communication and organization skills, a proactive mindset and high service orientation.
Detail‐oriented approach to work and ability to handle confidential information and be a solution seeker.
