Fullstack Developer (BQA / NATO) Long-Term Contract Remote (Europe)
Role Overview
You will be responsible for designing building and maintaining robust full-stack applications in a high security environment. You will interface directly with stakeholders in BQA / NATO projects ensure compliance with strict standards conduct code reviews and contribute to the architecture and roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, test, deploy and maintain full-stack software that meets NATO / BQA requirements
- Translate security and compliance requirements into code-level solutions
- Perform peer code reviews and enforce best practices
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve performance, reliability and scalability issues
- Contribute to architectural decisions and system design
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders and security auditors
- Write clear technical documentation
Mandatory Requirements
Security / Compliance / Defense Domain ExperienceMinimum 5 years in roles involving security, defense, government contracts or regulated environmentsProven experience working in or with NATO / defense / security frameworksFull-Stack Technical ExpertiseAt least 3 years hands-on experience building and maintaining both backend and frontend systemsStrong backend skills in one or more : Java, C# or GoStrong frontend skills with React, Angular or similarProficient in RESTful APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets etc.Deep understanding of relational (e.g. PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databasesDevOps & Infrastructure SkillsExperience with CI / CD pipelines, automated testing, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible etc.)Security Cryptography & HardeningHands-on knowledge of encryption, key management, secure coding practicesExperience with threat modeling, OWASP, secure authentication & authorizationFamiliarity with auditing compliance (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST etc.)Architectural & Design CapabilityAbility to make architectural decisions for large systems under security constraintsExperience in microservices, event-driven systems or distributed systemsSoft Skills & Process DisciplineExcellent English communication (written verbal)Strong documentation skillsAbility to operate in structured environments (requirement tracking, code reviews, QA audits)Self-discipline, attention to detail, accountabilityLogistics & Eligibility
Residency in Europe (EU or permissible location)Authorized to work remotely under contractAble and willing to undergo background / security checksPreferred (But Not Mandatory)
