Your Mission
The Process Engineer leads and supports Manufacturing activities linked to the industrial process within the plant (physical and information flows), interacting with the different departments at both plant and group levels, and with external partners and suppliers, to ensure that the process at the plant respects the requirements and achieve the expected goals in terms of safety, quality, productivity, and costs.
Your Responsibilities
Key result area 1 – Projects
- Cooperates intensively with suppliers and partners to reach the project targets in the plant, in conjunction with the local and project teams, and the corresponding Group departments.
- Participates in the definition of Book of Requirements of new industrial investments for the plant.
- Supports the pre-acceptance, installation, commissioning, reception, and acceptance of new industrial solutions at the plant, in cooperation with the relevant Group departments.
Key result area 2 – Manufacturing support
Provides the proper support and assistance to the Production and Maintenance teams on :Action plans related to KPI targets and deviations, as well as audit non-conformities.Continuous improvement, including staff suggestions and ideas system.Implementation of Best Practices and Lessons Learned.Shifting and staffing planning and management (own and interim workers).Consumables and supplies management, including EHS related (PPEs and 1st aid kits, e.g.).Creation and management of local Working Instructions, like Total Productive Maintenance.Training local teams in the process and Working Instructions at the different workplaces.Compliance with procedures within his / her area of responsibility, including shop floor audits.Root cause analysis on internal or customer incidents (process related), and line rejections.Data acquisition from the industrial process and KPI definition, reporting and analysis.Interventions on industrial equipment and software, like repairs, programming and modifications.Parametrization of assembly / sequencing equipment in cooperation with Quality and Supply Chain.In coordination with the Group IT department : development, implementation and monitoring of IT systems related to the industrial process like ERP, MES and Sequencing Software.In coordination with the Group Manufacturing & Innovation department :Attends technology fairs and congresses in the area, as input for potential new ideas.Keeps contact with plant suppliers to monitor their ongoing and future developments.Key result area 3 – Environment, Health and Safety
Provides the proper support and assistance to the plant with the following EHS items :Investigation, analysis, and action plans related to Safety accidents and near-misses.Meetings with Health and Safety Committee and plant representatives.Management of risk prevention plans and coordination with external Safety advisors.Local training on occupational Health and Safety related topics.Coordination and action plans related to EHS system audits (internal and external).Safety Walks and EHS audits on the shop floor.Compliance with EHS procedures and regulations for facilities and equipment.What you bring to the table :
At least 3 years of experience in a leading technical role within a highly automated manufacturing setting
Strong technical or engineering background, master's degree in Occupational Risk Prevention is a plus3 years-experience in EHS (Environment, Health & Safety)Excellent verbal communication and change management skillsExperience in costing and budgetingDeep understanding of production quality, health, and safetyTechnical know-how in pneumatics, mechanics, electrics, hydraulics, and industrial communication systemsFamiliarity with automation, robotics, Lean Manufacturing, and Six SigmaKnowledge of IATF 16949 standardsHands-on experience with ERP, MES, and CMMS systemsFluent in the local language and Advanced in EnglishWhat we offer :
