JVM (Java / Kotlin / Scala)

This is an opportunity to lead small, well-defined projects, support complex initiatives, and proactively improve existing systems.

Develop, test, and maintain backend systems in production environments using public or hybrid cloud infrastructure.

Lead small-scale projects and contribute as a supporting team member to complex ones.

Integrate systems with APIs and multiple data stores while ensuring reliability and performance.

Write clear, maintainable code following industry best practices and company standards.

6+ years of software development experience , preferably in JVM languages (Java, Kotlin, Scala).

Proven experience building and maintaining software products in public or hybrid cloud infrastructures.

Strong understanding of data structures, system design, testing, and debugging.

Familiarity with at least two data stores, API access patterns, and integration practices.

Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and understand how projects fit within the team's objectives.

Proficiency in testing and monitoring tools to ensure code quality and system reliability.

Hybrid work model in Madrid, up to 3 days remote with occasional travel to the UK.
