Akens \ Nordburg is seeking German IT-solutions company highly skilled and experienced UX / UI Designer (m / f) to enlarge the Spanish based Team.

Location : 100% remote from Spain

Responsibilities

  • Conducting user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to gather information about users’ behavior and needs.
  • Creating wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes to visualize design ideas.
  • Designing user interfaces that are attractive and easy to use, taking into account brand guidelines and design standards.
  • Developing intuitive and efficient interaction patterns that improve usability.
  • Planning and conducting usability tests to validate and optimize design solutions.
  • Working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that design solutions are technically feasible and meet business requirements.

Requirements

  • Higher vocational or university degree in one of the following fields : science, mathematics, computer science or engineering.
  • At least 10 years of practical experience as a UX / UI designer.
  • Mastery of design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD and InVision.
  • Knowledge of visual design, typography, colour theory, layout and responsive design.
  • Understanding of HTML and CSS and their impact on design.
  • Experience in the development and maintenance of design systems.
  • Competence in creating accessible user interfaces.
  • Openness to familiarising yourself with new technologies.
  • English (C1) : required for documentation, collaboration, and communication in an international environment.
  • German (B1) : highly valued for working with German-speaking clients and teams.
