Due to continued growth, an opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and skilled full time Workshop Foreman (Heavy Vehicle / Diesel Mechanic), based in our new Malaga workshop.

Responsibilities Maintaining a fleet of Waste collection vehicles and associated equipment
Supervise and manage the workshop and mechanical staff
Reporting requirements
Assist in staff training and development
Assist if required in both major and minor repairs
Help manage emergency breakdowns as they arise
Scheduled maintenance
Qualifications Experience in managing staff
A current heavy rigid truck driver's license
Familiarity with Quality Assurance & Occupational Health & Safety
Good communication and organisational skills
Experience in hydraulics, automotive electrics or welding is not essential, but would be an advantage, as would a forklift licence. Previous experience in a similar role would also be highly regarded.
Benefits A generous rate will be negotiated, depending on experience.
The successful candidate will work on a fleet of Heavy Waste vehicles and benefit from the listed benefits.
