About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Extreme Fabric Professional Service Engineer.

Responsibilities Design and Architecture

Plan and design large-scale fabric-based networks.

Integrate Extreme Networks’ solutions (like Fabric Connect) into existing environments.

Deployment and Implementation

Configure switches and routers (e.g., Extreme VSPs, SLX, etc.).

Deploy fabric-enabled edge and core infrastructure.

Implement automation and zero-touch provisioning.

Operations and Troubleshooting

Monitor network health, performance, and scalability.

Use tools like Extreme Management Center, ExtremeCloud IQ, or Analytics.

Troubleshoot complex issues using CLI, SNMP, and API integrations.

Security and Segmentation

Configure hyper-segmentation and secure services.

Work with role-based access control and policy enforcement.

Automation and Scripting

Develop scripts using Python or Ansible for automated deployment and changes.

Use APIs to integrate with third-party systems.

Documentation and Compliance

Maintain detailed network documentation.

Ensure compliance with standards and best practices.

Qualifications Languages - German & English
