At our organization, we're seeking a highly skilled Application consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in planned maintenance, updates, and upgrades, patching, migrations, consolidations, deployments, and project support for the provisioning portal on Azure DevOps. They will also be responsible for ensuring security and availability, operational configuration or standard operation procedures, documentation, knowledge transfer to L2 teams, providing expertise and guidance on Microsoft 365, and 3rd / 4th level support.

Mission Objectives

Ensure highest levels of security and availability through proactive measures.
Develop and maintain operational, configuration, or standard operation procedures and documentation.
Manage Knowledge Transfer of operations to L2 teams effectively.
Provide expert guidance on Microsoft 365 solutions.
Deliver 3rd / 4th level support services.
Collaborate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

Key Responsibilities

Assess and mitigate security threats.

Work closely with infrastructure, security, and compliance teams to identify and address security threats.

Configure and report on security aspects of the Microsoft 365 environment and on-premises platform.

Evaluate Group Security policies and provide recommendations.

Collaborate with M365, Architecture, Cyber Defense, Proofpoint, Group Security teams.

Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years of senior expertise with Microsoft 365 in Hybrid provisioning and authentication environments.

PowerShell Scripting experience is essential.

Azure DevOps, C# development, and TerraForm expertise are required.

International environment and heterogeneous environment experience is preferred.

Hands-on expertise in analyzing, documenting, and maintaining large-scale messaging infrastructure is necessary.

Microsoft Azure and Federated authentication expertise are required.

Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance services, Purview, Defender expertise are necessary.

Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.

Large scale organisation experience with L3 support expertise is preferred.
