Senior Secondary / Protection and Control Electrical Engineer for HV Substations

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Specialist in Protection and Control of High Voltage Electrical Substations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, specification, supervision of installation, and commissioning of protection and control systems according to the company's high-quality standards.

Location : Madrid, Hybrid

Main Responsibilities :

• Develop and / or review basic and detailed engineering designs for protection and control of high-voltage substations.
• Perform and / or review protection selectivity studies and short-circuit studies.
• Prepare detailed technical specifications for the acquisition of protections, ensuring specific project requirements.
• Participate in the technical evaluation of bids from suppliers of protection and control systems.
• Supervise and coordinate the manufacturing, factory acceptance tests (FAT), installation, and commissioning phases of the equipment.
• Manage the technical interface with suppliers, contractors, and other departments involved in the project.
• Lead or actively participate in on-site acceptance tests (SAT).
• Resolve technical problems that arise during installation and commissioning.
